Not content to try and pick fights with… Fighters. Chael has decided to move his trolling on to ring girls, recently getting into a spat with longtime UFC Ring Girl Arianny Celeste.

Twitter certainly makes life as an MMA fan interesting. When you’re not seeing which weird 35 year old adult is begging a top 50 middleweight for a retweet, you can see fighters two weight classes apart talk about beating each other up. But the recent “beef” between Chael Sonnen and Arianny Celeste is the first I can remember between a fighter and a ring card girl.
It started with a comment made by Sonnen when asked about who should win Ring Girl of the Year honors at the World MMA Awards (which Chael is hosting). Via Fighters Only, Chael responded with:
“We only had one and that was Chandella [Powell]. The other was the IQ card girl. Arianny [Celeste] kind of walks around and holds up her latest test score. One time when there was a title fight, she got all the way up to five and we were very proud of her,”
Arianny originally responded on Twitter with this (now deleted) tweet:
Hey what’s ur name.. after @spideranderson kicks your ass..u won’t even be able to count to 5!! Get ready to kiss brazils ass!
Of course, not one to let someone else get the last word, Chael replied:
Seems easy to wear a bikini and seems easy to walk in a circle, but try walking in a circle while wearing a bikini. Talented girl!
Now we just wait and see if Arianny wins the award and has to have it handed to her by Chael. I guess anything that makes an awards show slightly more interesting.
Chael Sonnen reminds me of a five year old who gets attention by throwing a temper tantrum, and instead of ignoring him, like people should, they let the five year old host a fucking awards show.
But I guess I’m just as guilty of it as anyone else. I’m posting his garbage for viewing and discussion…
